EYEBROWS!! EEEK!

Hello all fellow "one day older than sixty five" followers!!

What's happening with YOUR eyebrows?   Are they thinning like mine?  AND ... are you forced into using the evil "PENCIL" for salvation? 

THE PENCIL is something I never wanted to use.  I can remember watching my mom draw her eyebrows on and I thought how "awful" ...  they look so unnatural.   I for one have tried to spend time doing short swipes so noone would know it was the PENCIL.  Sure.   Of course they can tell :-(

BUT look at this!   It appears that a product that is growing eye lashes is ALSO growing eyebrows!!! YAY!! They say that you must have some hair ... I do ... and then it will work.  Patience is required. Results appear in normally a few weeks but can take 12 or more . ..BUT in time everyone is getting results.   How cool is this?  A miracle in my book .

Aging Backwards! Can We Do This?

Aging Backwards ... a phrase recently put in front of me.  Sounds wonderful doesn't it?   I'm liking it, as I find myself,  another day older than 65!

What would YOU say if you "could" reverse the aging of your face?   As we age we carry our stress, our worries, our joys, and so many emotions in our face.  I tell people that each one of my wrinkles has a story to go with it ... good and bad ones!    I actually take pride in some of , what I refer to as character lines.

That said,  I do like the idea of reducing the depth of some of these "character lines.".  Would also welcome a smoother and firmer base to my skin.  I get a skip in my; step when my face feels clean and fresh so YES,  bring on anti-aging to my face!

Wrinkles? Firmness? My Face?

Oh my ..... with each day I swear I see another wrinkle and another "sag" of a flap of skin!  I try to find the best mirror to fool myself, but I know the truth.   

It's amazing how one's face can affect how you feel in all respects.  I have always said I would take a facial over a new dress to make myself feel better!   And when you are "another day older than sixty-five," you want to feel better.

Taking A Plunge ... At My Age!!!

Hello ...

It's been many more days since turning sixty five and since posting on my blog but I'm back!  Time to share and engage and ask for your thoughts!

I'm taking the plunge into a direct sales opportunigy!   Keeping my established business.  There are so many reasons to jump in.  See if  they all make sense to you especially if you are also another day older than sixty five!!

Here are my reasons

• The capital needed to really expand my existing business "could" come from the success of the direct sales opportunity.
• It is product based, something NOT in my existing business.
• It's a small line of products that you can wrap your hands around.
• The products are each a unique solution to a problem.
• The products are tested and high-quality with demonstrated results.
• Great marketing support with stories and before/after photos.
• Strong company financially and they like to give back.
• Their markeitng strategies is right on .. no "got cha's" ... just good sense.
• Seems to be easy to do in minimal time especially with before and after photos. 
• I would and will use the products!
• It will create an ongoing residual income that I need to create having no savings, investments, nor backup while being "another day older than sixty-five." 
• I see it as security.
• The companpy is philathropic and genrerous ...love that!

Those Bags Under Our Eyes!

Oh no!  Today I saw the dreaded deep line that kind of scoops under one's eye?   I have seen it on other people and have always said, "at least I don't have that on my face!"  Well, this morning it arrived. There is was under my left eye. Wasn't there yesterday!  But in the mirror this AM I could have died. I peered into the mirror and screamed!

 Does "anyone" know what to do about them?   I drank a gallon of water hoping to plump out the deep crease.   Still there when I look.  Am trying to not look when I look, i.e. focus on other "oh no's" on my face.  The ones I know have been there.  Can accept wrinkles and such but these lines ... they sooooo hurt me to see!  Help!

One's Memory .. Or Not!

What can I say!  Totally forgot that I hadn't posted since last Wednesday.  Thought it may have been Friday when I last spoke. So is this normal? Senility? Something to be concerned about?

 In the old (well, younger) days, you'd just take "missing a few days more than you thought" as a  mere and simple "I forgot!"  NOW... entering 65 and beyond, one must have to be alert to such gaps in memory as a "sign" of more serious things to come.

Get out the mind exercise games, check the diet,  and so on!  It just gets kind of messy, this aging thing. Anyone got some coping ideas?  Preventative memory loss that works?  Check-in's?  I guess making a list will always be a main stay.  How about an app?  Any apps for eliminating memory loss??   Let me know before I forget!! ( I know.. cheap joke! :-))

Another year older ... 

A California "65" ... ??

Was sitting talking this evening with another soon to be "65" year old talking about how much younger we feel than what others might believe at our age. Is it California?  Sure makes sense that it's definitely a reflection of the California attitude and life style...BUT aren't there some young "65" year olds out there in other states?  

Let me know you are out there! I want to know what keeps you young in your mind and appearance.  Are you the norm?  Or do you stand out?  Let's share our beauty and mind secrets!

Anyone actively dating?  Anyone dating a younger man?   Ooops .... that's for another posting, another day, another time!! :-)
